Don’t Let Good Photos Get Lost in the Weeds
Gardeners know that pruning is just as important as planting. It’s how we clear away the clutter to let the real beauty thrive. The same is true for photography.
We take hundreds of photos to capture that one perfect moment where the dawning light shifts through branches to paint a leaf in dappled gold, but often that magic gets lost in a crowded camera roll.
On Monday, February 9th at 1:00 PM, we will explore this process in the Prune Your Photos (2026) workshop.
In this interactive session, we aren't just talking about the technical details of cropping. We’re going to look at how to:
- Edit the Story: Learn to see your garden with an artist's eye before and after the shutter clicks.
- Transform Images: Use simple edits and thoughtful composition to find the powerful stories hidden in plain sight.
- Critique & Create: We’ll be doing anonymous live edits of participant photos.
Whether you're a technician focused on the perfect grid or a poet chasing the feeling of the light, this workshop will give you the tools to curate your work with confidence.
If you have photos you’d like us to look at during the session, you can still upload them via the Google Form on the workshop page linked below.
